| Working relationship with NGOs and
Other Community based Organization. |
|
Foot Loose works with a number of community based
organization. 70% of them are managed by women. The
lead NGO is called Mother’s Empowerment Group (MEG)
lead by M/S Joyce Mbwette. Thus we work indirectly
with over 70 groups each group having (10 – 20)
members. MEG coordinates the all-entire training
workshop on quality control and marketing skills,
MEG has a direct relationship with all the groups
and Foot Loose (T) Ltd supports MEG to support all
the groups. Foot loose (T) Ltd always makes efforts
through MEG to coordinate group activities and help
them achieve commercial efficiency at the least
possible cost in order to open up markets to the
benefit of products. We cooperate with each other by
exchanging information about product and market
needs, and ways of meeting them. We advice the
groups to avoid competition by not duplicating the
design pattern of the another group without
permission. We make sure they exchange information
and have joint workshops, take collective action and
where possible meet to discuss common issues. |
